The High Arctic "We sail north until we can travel no further"

Images from my most recent trip, to the top of the world. I travelled to Svalbard, White Bear Country a small Norwegian archipelago. After a few days exploring Longyearbyen, the most northern city in the world, my fellow explorers and I travelled north until we could sail no further. Our tiny expedition ship, the MS Nordstarden, sailed up to the 80th Parallel and within 600 miles of the North Pole until we were halted by the pack ice. From there on was ice until the North Pole and beyond. Spellbinding, and still gives my shivers down my spine writing this months later. My aim with this Album has been to capture the peace, majesty energy and pure tranquillity that I found at the top of our world despite the harsh conditions and utter wildness. I hope you enjoy them.
